Inspired stylist and designer Kara Rosenlund..
It's all in the detail..
Seriously... I need to find a ginormous mortar and pestle like this one. I would love to use one as a planter in my kitchen for an herb tree..
Hope you find as much inspiration in Kara's design as I have!
Enjoy..

Vintage marble sink display inspiration...
I came across this picture above of a make shift, but very cool bathroom on Greige that inspired me. So funny, because I little while back, I found this marble vintage basin at Anthropologie. I must have talked myself through not purchasing it a million times before I left the store. I just fell in love with it knowing that it would be a cool display in my shop. It must weigh about 100 pounds... just I couldn't figure out how to do it without securing it to the wall. But I love the idea of this found wood acting as a base to support it and the contrast in material is cool too! I'm thinkin' it may be the right time...?!
Thanks Greige!

Manifest Monday... a trip to Marrakech
This afternoon I was reading the newest issue of Elle Decor magazine and they featured the most amazing photograph of a Bohemian Morrocan style house in Marrakech. It got me thinking about my dream of traveling and that maybe, just maybe, the pure act of seeing and visualizing my deepest desire to see the world would manifest to reality.
Who knows what the universe has in store for me, but I'm sure gonna try!
So, this is the first post of Manifest Mondays... This is where I will share my dreams of globetrotting.
Enjoy...
I'm on my first adventure.. Off to the markets to find some decorative accessories for my shop..
`
These lamps and this mosaic would be the perfect pieces for a project I'm working on..
Mmm.. Salad and Mint tea.. so refreshing after a day of shopping.
I just love the architecture.. So much inspiration here!
Relaxing in the courtyard... Manifesting the next adventure.
Hope to see you back next Monday!

Les Indiennes hand printed wallpaper and textiles...
My love for hand printed and hand blocked textiles led me to Les Indiennes. Mary Mulcahy, the founder of Les Indiennes, produces hand block textiles of naturally dyed cotton, with airy patterns of big, single colored motifs. Check out their hand bound catalog... Beautifully made and made with love, I would say.
Enjoy!

Gorgeous lamp finials... It's all in the details
Hello again my blogger friends! It's been a while since I've posted on my design site. If you're wondering why, I opened a flower shop recently.. actually a flowers and home boutique called Bloomflora! I set aside my love for interior design to pursue my love for floral design. It's been a great ride so far, but no more.. I've realized that I need to have both in my life to be truly happy. So today is the day to push forward and make that happen. I came across these gorgeous lamp finials on Hillary Thomas Designs "Chic Shop". It inspired me to share...again. Hope they inspire you as much as they have inspired me.
Enjoy!
