Hang lots of beautiful pictures...

I find that one of the biggest problems people have when decorating,  is selecting art for their walls.  They either don't know what to do, so they're walls are sparse. They hang pictures too high or they're too afraid of not being perfect, so they do nothing at all. Decorating your walls can be fun. It's your opportunity to be creative, so think outside of the box!  I hope these pictures will inspire you to let loose a little.  It doesn't have to be perfect...that's the beauty of it.

To try to make it easier for you, I've included a DIY tip for your below...Enjoy!

Use this trick before you hang your pictures.  This will help save your walls from a bunch of nail holes and it will help you  see what your masterpiece will look like before hand.
Here's How to Do It
  1. Trace pictures onto brown kraft paper and cut out. Label each of the papers with a description of the picture or a corresponding number.
  2. Using blue painter's tape (which won't pull up wall paint), tape the papers to the wall. Experiment with arrangements until you have one you like.
  3. Install picture-hanging hardware directly through the paper. Pull paper away and hang pictures one by one.
Now go give it try!

  1. I'm loving that hallway with TONs of pics, and that stairwell is pretty wild! What a statement! I like it!
