Luxury living and working in a Cement Factory...?

Take a look at this beauty... Designed by Spanish architect, Ricardo Bofill.
Ricardo discovered this landmark Gem in 1973. The factory was part of an industrial complex from the turn of the century, comprising over 30 silos, underground galleries and huge engine rooms. The factory was abandoned and partially in ruins. The complex stands in the midst of gardens of eucalyptus, palms, olive trees and cypresses and features Ricardo Bofill’s house and guest rooms. I think this is luxury living... reinvented.
Enjoy!

  2. What an incredible transformation! But factories and warehouses do tend to lend themselves to magnificent homes because of the large spaces. I adore the living room area with the wooden beams!
